London-Tblisi-Astana charity ride 2009

A balmy evening in Clapham on Friday 14th saw friends gather to celebrate the start of the 2009 charity ride from London via Tblisi and onward to Astana.An impressive array of five fully loaded R1200GS Adventurers were present all in event livery.The riding party are led by Lord Gillford accompanied by Tully McWhirter both of whom frequent the Jap & German workshop.Joined by riders from accross europe & beyond the party set off on Saturday.At the time of leaving the group had already raised in excess of £15,000 for various charities.For further details and to keep up with events on route please check out the event website at http://london2tbilisi.com
